Laurie Walpole

Laurie Walpole is a British independent artist based out of Oxfordshire, creating music that includes a range of genres from indie rock to country/folk. Using his experiences whilst growing up in the Cotswolds and travelling the globe to inform his music, Laurie Walpole aims to create emotional and powerful yet simple music, blended with more complex soundscapes which are driven by sincere story-telling lyrics. 

Laurie Walpole picked up the guitar in 2020 during the first COVID lockdown and never put it down. Inspired by his favourite artists such as Sam Fender, The 1975 and Zach Bryan - he aims for every listener to identify with his lyrics and enjoy the musical journey he creates.

Currently performing multiple gigs around Oxfordshire of his own repertoire and various cover songs, he also specialises in music production, using a home studio to help other artists create and innovate. Also currently waterfall releasing an EP that he hopes to release this year, Laurie Walpole is grinding 24/7 to build a loyal fanbase using social media and networking in his local community to his advantage.
